Australia's Rosemount Estate Black Diamond Label Shiraz, winner of the Gold Medal and two Trophy Awards from Australia's 2004 COWRA Wine Show, is richly textured with well-defined, ripe blackberry fruit flavors, soft generous tannins on the mid-palate and a long, rich finish. Try with lamb, pasta, antipasto and osso bucco.
Castillo de Mons?ran, an easy drinking red wine from Spain with herbal overtones, is bursting ripe berry and plum fruit of the Garnacha. A great wine for tomato-based pasta dishes, cold cut platter and mixed tapas.
Gabbiano Promessa Pinot Grigio, a white wine from the Delle Venezie region of northern Italy, showcases crisp notes of citrus, green apple and orange blossom. It pairs perfectly with caprese salad, charcuterie, risotto and grilled fish.
